Vectors in Illustrator
To add points to a path there are some options:
Object > Path > Add vector points (doubles the amount)
Effect > Distort and transform > Roughen
Effect > Distort and transform > Tweak
Find the effects again in: Window > Appearance
AND! remember to go to: Object > Expand Appearance
